Objects in Motion presents a night of rare international animated short films curated from international festivals and archives by local artist, animator and UBC professor, Myron Campbell. Settle in for an evening of experimental animation showcasing both seasoned and emerging independent filmmakers from Canada and beyond.<\/p>\n

Objects in Motion spans two evenings, each with a different selection of films.\u00a0Join Living Things Artistic Director and UBC professor, Neil Cadger for this live-streamed event.<\/p>\n

ACID RAIN is set in post-industrial Eastern Europe and follows a young woman who runs away from her depressing hometown. That\u2019s how she meets Skinny \u2013 a kind of unstable weirdo who lives in a camper and runs his not-so-legal errands. Their journey gradually leads them towards more and more eerie settings, revealing the attraction and repulsion of rave culture.<\/p>\n
